Dr. Diaz-Goano is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at iNumerix Solutions, specializing in modelling and simulation of complex multi-physics engineering and scientific problems, optimization and data analytics. Dr. Diaz-Goano has over 25 years of industrial and academic experience. She holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, a M.Sc. in Computing Sciences and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta and is a member of APEGA.

Safwan Hossain is the Vice President of Business Development at iNumerix Solutions with a technical background in software and data engineering for the oil and gas sector and other scientific domains. Previously at Suncor Energy, he has contributed to production-grade applications supporting analytics, operational workflows, and digital transformation initiatives. Safwan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary and is a member of APEGA.

Benjamin Nixon is the Vice President of Product Development at iNumerix Solutions, leading the vision, design, and execution of innovative software products for industrial and energy-sector applications. With a strong foundation in computer engineering and hands-on experience building robust, scalable solutions, Ben excels at translating complex technical challenges into intuitive and impactful products.
Shelly Simpson, BSc, BEd, P.Eng.

Shelly Simpson is the Co-Founder and Vice President of Operations at iNumerix Solutions. She has over 25 years of experience with engineering, project management and information management, in Canada and abroad. She has extensive work experience in oil and gas, refining, and power generation. Ms. Simpson has been the Project Manager of central processing facilities, transmission, regulatory, operation and maintenance projects. She is experienced in business development, account management, contract negotiation and project controls. She has held leadership positions of Project Engineering and Information Management teams at Cenovus Energy. Ms. Simpson holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.Ed. both from the University of Alberta and is a member of APEGA.
